My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It’s definitely a small space, but we didn’t need much room so it was great for us. Very central (walkable everywhere).

Despite being across from the street from a police station, it was sooooooo quiet !!! Best sleep ever in a super comfy cozy bed !!! Room was very compact in size, but sooooooo well designed !!! Location was also sooooo close to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery !! Staff were all soooooo accomodating as well. :-)

Excellent room and location. Rooms are cozy and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Book z hotels through their website for extras, such as free wine and cheese included. I have stayed several times and it will continue to be my go-to in London.

I was looking for somewhere central to stay in London for an overnight work trip, and thought I’d try the Z range. Yes it’s a small room with no windows, but it’s a brilliant location, the bed is really comfortable, it’s got a kettle and bottled water, and really friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.

In a good location, but room is soo small. To get a room with a window, you pay additional fee, and having a window was just to get some light, no “view” at all. You have to go to the lobby to get refill drinking water.

So I was surprised at the size of the room, which is very small. The bed touches three walls with not much space for items. The bed did have space under the bed for suitcases. That said the staff was exceptional when I asked for extra padding to the mattress. It was a very walkable area and nice for the theatres.

I loved the location of the hotel easy walk to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly. The only thing I didn't like and would like to complain about was the shower in the room. The shower head kept falling and flopping down making having a shower impossible. Had to checkout without a shower We stayed in Room 12. We informed the gentlemen on reception when checking out. He offered us drinks or breakfast but a breakfast can not replace a nice hot shower. It was a disappointment because we stayed for my daughter birthday. She couldnt shower and get refreshed for her day.

As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe having a ground floor room that can be accessed by anyone off the street. The rooms were right next to the bar/café close to reception and didn’t require a key card to access this section of the hotel - this is a major security and safeguarding issue. Thankfully, the sound proofing of the room worked well to eliminate outside noise (it’s in a very busy area), but there was constant noise in the corridor until at least 1am as people were in and out of the bar area and what sounded like suitcases and carts being wheeled up and down constantly. The room, whilst relatively clean, was extremely tired and in need of renovation. Whilst the tea/coffee and water provided were welcome, the unsealed bottle of water is not hygienic, and the milk packets were partially opened, so I wasn’t going to use them. Reception and bar staff are lovely though. Only had a drink in the bar, but the evening food I saw being prepared looked very nice and was a relatively decent price for central London. Didn’t stay for breakfast as £12 for a cheap pastries and coffee is not value in my opinion.
